Working at Heights Training Courses

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 applies to all Work at Height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury. They place duties on employers, the self-employed and any person who controls the work of others.

At ESS we are able to tailor our Working at Height training courses to a particular industry or working method and will provide the essential skills and knowledge needed to manage Work at Height Operatives, operate a Safe System of Work or to effect a safe and swift evacuation or rescue.

As a company that is dedicated to safety in the workplace, we continuously strive to make our training even more accessible to our nationwide customers. Designed in compliance with the requirements for IRATA, our custom built training centre in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire includes dedicated Working at Height exercise areas, classrooms and a breakout area, ensuring training delegates receive the ultimate learning experience. The exercise area is designed to meet the increasing demand for specialist Work at Height, and includes exposed walkways, high platforms and a variety of ladder styles.

Working closely with both RoSPA and City & Guilds, we are able to offer customers a range of affordable accredited or bespoke Working at Height courses for a variety of industries. Our courses are designed to conform to the BS EN 8454 code of practice for the delivery of Working at Height training, education and rescue, incorporating the HSE Working at Height training key syllabus.
