At ESS we have a wide range of equipment servicing capabilities. This enables us to service, inspect, calibrate and repair a full range of Safety, Survey, Communications and Test & Measurement equipment in our own dedicated and state-of-the-art workshops.

Our nationwide network of purpose-built workshops are approved and accredited by the leading manufacturers for their particular specifications and disciplines, including brands such as MSA, Draeger, Leica, Trimble, and Motorola. Staffed by some of the most experienced and qualified engineers in the UK, we are able to provide the very best servicing capabilities.

As well as servicing your equipment, our specialist workshop technicians are available to provide advice and support to our customers regarding their instruments, including the appropriate maintenance practices.

To ensure a fast turnaround of equipment, each of our workshops hold surplus stock of spare parts at any one time in order to ensure that there are no delays, therefore limiting operational downtime for the customer.

SUSTAINABILITY - Pursuing a brighter future...

As a company, we endeavour to be environmentally aware in every aspect possible across our wide variety of business platforms. This includes the identification of the damaging impact on the environment, caused by the calibration and inspection paperwork generated throughout the servicing process. To become further sustainable, ESS has launched a damage resistant plastic card which is attached to the equipment in replacement of the significant paperwork. Not only does this reduce paper waste and increase longevity of the information source, it also enables customers to quickly and easily check that their equipment service is in date.

AUTOMATED SERVICE REMINDER – Making your exchange as stress-free as possible…

There’s no need for customers to keep track of their servicing schedule with our automated calibration and servicing notifications… Our servicing team will provide customers with a courtesy call prior to the calibration/service due date to inform them and to arrange a convenient date for an instrument exchange should they be on long-term hire. Once a date is confirmed, dependent on which is the most suitable for the customer, either a replacement will be delivered to the site and the existing product taken away or the customer will visit their local branch where their replacement kit will await them and the used product can be handed in for testing.

ON-SITE SERVICING – Bringing our workshop to you…

With national coverage from a fleet of highly specified, fully equipped vehicles, our on-site engineers can service your equipment at your location, reducing downtime of equipment whilst increasing cost effectiveness.
