Normal fall arrest retrievers are only designed for raising a
person in the event of an emergency. They are not to be
used for routine raising and lowering. Therefore a 'man
riding' winch should be used when raising, lowering or
supporting personnel.
Our winches are specifically designed
for confined space work and rated for routine 'man riding'
up to a maximum working load of 204kgs.
