The Draeger X-plore® 8500 features a heavy-duty design with rubber protectors and high ingress protection (IP65) against dust and water jets from any direction. The latest Li-ion battery technology provides power for at least four hours. The air inlets are protected from frontal moving debris, ensuring that sparks or water do not come into direct contact with the filter. In work areas requiring explosion protection, the special Draeger X-plore® 8700 model provides optimal support. It is ATEX approved and can be used in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
