As the market leader in Confined Space Training, ESS Safeforce has progressively become the preferred supplier to an array of nationwide businesses, most recently Centrica. Over a six week period the Safety and Rescue team have been supplying Confined Space Rescue Training at Centrica’s Barrow Terminals.
Offering an authentic yet safe and controlled training environment, ESS Safeforce delivered one of its mobile training units to Centrica’s Barrows South Terminal where it stayed over the full training period, providing Centrica accessibility when and where they required it. The purpose built transportable labyrinth also meant significant cost saving for Centrica, removing the need for their team to travel off-site.
Anna Quary from MCL Medics who implemented the medical assessment of all the personnel undergoing the training commented: “It was a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of the physical and mental efforts required by the teams who undertake confined space work. I was delighted to be able to observe at close quarters this valuable training.”
